A quick fishing update. I went pinfishing for the shop late yesterday afternoon, on an outgoing tide. I caught silver trout, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, mackerel and, of course, pinfish and catfish. The bite was unreal. I only had frozen small pieces of shrimp. Now is the time to get out and fish while we are having this warm snap! Remember to check my website for the solunar tables. Remember, quit wishing and go fishing!
P.S. I was fishing a channel near the little bridge at Yacht club Estates.
Check out the Z-Man Lures Elaztech Scented Shrimp as reviewed by Captain K.
Monique created a fantastic video of her charter with Captain K and put it on YouTube. We were so impressed we had to share a link on our site. Tight Lines, Monique and hope to fish with you again!
Captain K's Bait, Tackle & Charter Center will be open later than usual today to provide last minute tackle, live shrimp, pin fish and fiddler crabs to those competing in the Old Salt Tournament and anyone needing some goodies.
Come on in and get fishing!
I realized some of my fishing fins may not be from the St. Pete area. I used an older model of these hook removers in the video. Berkley's current Dehooker is available at the shop and you can stop in and snag yours today. I also posted the amazon link here for my out of town fins.
Tight lines and now easy release!
Episode 2 has now launched! I think we took hook removal to a whole new level, enjoy the new Captain K-ism "The Twist and Shake". :)
Here is the premiere episode of the Captain K Show. Hope you enjoy and be sure to suscribe for more helpful tips!
