Meet Captain K

Meet Karen Hughart, aka "Captain K", she is a fifth generation Florida native and was born and raised in St. Petersburg.  She grew up fishing right here in the bay and drove her first boat solo when she was only six years old.  “Nothing beats being on the water!” Karen tells everyone. She is a proud mother of three daughters, who all love the water as much as their mom.  She has been US Coast Guard Licensed for 17 years.  If anyone knows about fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and in the bay-- it's Captain K.
